Flouro will sink faster but again it varies by quality.

stretch is a good thing for crappie fishing. It act like a shock absorber and crappie arent called papermouths for no reason.

perhaps a good copoloymer might be of interest. Less stretch than mono, doesn't get as weak as floor gets after backlash.

i think fishermen and women, me too, tend to over think things looking for a magical way to catch more fish. LOL
There is another line that has “Zero” stretch.....Ester Monofilament.....made out of polyester. No...it is not braid...it is not Dacron. It behaves much like regular monofilament line on a spinning reel. It is not sold in the states but I love the stuff. It sinks.....sensitivity is off the charts. I use about a 3-4 foot section of FC leader as a a shock leader. Why do I use it? I fish micro jigs.....many times 1/64. The ester line allows me to get a micro jig down to 21 feet and keep it down there...thus allowing me to catch more fish. Of course the strongest ester I have run upon is 3# test.....but I use the 2.3# test and works great for me.
