Honestly I would say stick with what you know and
enjoy. Like you said it’s to be fun and enjoyable and not something considered work. I think the main advantage with more rods and lines out is possibility of catching greater numbers of fish. A line in the water is a chance. More lines = more chances.
Oh, I’ve got the kayaks, and I love it! I consider it my laid back fishing! I also float trout streams, fish “no outboard “ lakes, and use it for skinny water and out of the way adventures. The $55 in gas I pumped into the Lund last night reminded me just how much I love the yaks!
