Unfortunately the poll did not have pushing jigs as an option. Not even a tightlining choice, which would be close to what we do. Spider rigging is what I picked but to some people, Spider Rigging, means sitting in a boat, wind drifting, with 20 rods out with minnows under bobbers.

To my fishing buddy and myself, it is pushing jigs with 8 rods off the front of the boat at about 1 MPH all day.

I did make a comment in the first post of this poll to the effect "but just select "spider rig" if you push".

And I would not call "sitting in a boat, wind drifting, with 20 rods out with minnows under bobbers" Spider Rigging. I would just call that drifting with minnows. And I guess I missed "drifting" as an option. oops

Thanks y'all for your participation. This will be interesting just the way the poll is now anyway.

You might not call it spider rigging but lots of other people do. Actually, drifting with lots of poles out drowning minnows is where the term originated, at least in my part of the country. YMMV.
