Prayers needed for myself

Praying for you Ship. Had surgery 15 yrs ago for P C no problems since. My cancer doctor got it 10 years after I did and had same surgery he preformed on me. When you are told you have cancer it is scary at first, but things get better when you learn more about it. When I had it they said there was a 84% cure rate, sure it is even better now. I have been a preacher and missionary for 40 years and a women in my church ( a cancer survivor ) told me there were blessings in cancer. I thought she was nuts, but she was right and in time I think you will see that too. Praying for God's blessings on you.

Hat55, you are right on target when you said "When you are told you have cancer it is scary at first, but things get better when you learn more about it." God has used me to help spread the word for men to get their PSA tests regularly. Five of my friends did and found out they also have Prostrate Cancer. We have invited doctors and nurse practitioners to our church to have presentations to the members on Prostrate and Breast Cancer. There are blessings.....you pray more... you are more aware of your own mortality and want to be sure you are in a right relationship with Jesus..and you are thankful for each and every new day that the Lord allows you to see. In return, God uses you more to help someone else through the situations and problems they are going through. If God brings you to it...then GOD WILL bring you through it.
