Hat55, you are right on target when you said "When you are told you have cancer it is scary at first, but things get better when you learn more about it." God has used me to help spread the word for men to get their PSA tests regularly. Five of my friends did and found out they also have Prostrate Cancer. We have invited doctors and nurse practitioners to our church to have presentations to the members on Prostrate and Breast Cancer. We have also had them give information on how to recognize the signs of a stroke. Here is a link Know the Signs of Stroke | StrokeAwareness.com

There are blessings.....you pray more... you are more aware of your own mortality and want to be sure you are in a right relationship with Jesus..and you are thankful for each and every new day that the Lord allows you to see. In return, God uses you more to help someone else through the situations and problems they are going through. If God brings you to it...then GOD WILL bring you through it. Bless all of you for your prayers.
