Have caught some fish before in Pickwick, but never amounted to enough to call a mess until now. Gonna fry them up Sunday with the friend who helped catch them. Only 7 crappie and 1 bass, but with a few shrimp should be just fine. Largest crappie was 13 inches. Lost 2 nice ones and a larger bass at the boat. Caught on blk/char road runners. I think they are finally coming up shallow.Water was 64 degrees surface temp. However the water temp will drop again, with another cold front tomorrow. Really happy to at least get the skunk's attention. Been a long year trying around here. Way different than where I fished in Louisiana.
