    Snubbys....applied red thread locker to the left side rod holders yesterday and will test them on next trip. Hopefully this works because I really like the C&C rod holders. Will report results back to this thread....

    I had the same issue I put lock tight on the pipe were it threads into the bottom. I then took the top thumb but off and separated the two pieces that go on top and bottom of pole holder. I took the black rubber washer out and then I but a weld on the bottom piece to the pipe. That fixed my problem they will not swing in the wind or by a fish

    Ive also got this problem with these rod holders,they are very expensive and its a shame that a person spends this much money on them and have these type of problems.

    I have the solid tracks on my boat and I have never had one pole effect another pole. I hated the t-bar holders for that reason. Mine work perfect and a lot less holes in the deck.

    I put lock tite on the bottom of upright
    And removed rubber washer from top of upright replace with a metal internal lock washer.
    Works awesome!!
