We went through the same process a year ago trying to find our geezer boat. It would have been helpful if the boat manufacturer websites would have the front deck dimensions listed. We whittled the list down to the G3 Sportsman 20' and the Alumacraft Competitor 205. Both are awesome boats. There was very little price difference at the dealers between the two. The selling point for us was the storage and foul-weather top and sides available on the Alumacraft. I've posted pics and deck dimensions in the show off your boat thread to help others.
