I rebuilt a 20 year old boat a couple years ago. Now the only money I put in her is gear, trolling motor, sonar, rod holders, kicker motor, and the list goes on.

It's a 79 Skeeter SS7 that a freind of mine was going to scrap this summer. I took it on as a "bet you can't" project. I may have come off as aggravated or mad that Im having trouble, when in reality I'm laughing at myself. The money ive put into it so far would have been a healthy down payment on a new one. Im about 3 months away from having my finances were I want them so I can comfortably get a new boat and rig it the way I want asnd thus boat is jeopardizing that plan. So looking back on this "little" project, it has only been a set back on my original plans. There's no way I can recoup any money ive put into it other than electronics, so when I say I'll "blow it up", it will be with a smile on my face.
