    Ah, those type. Nope and probable won't. I typically don't anchor in shallow water. I usually anchor in 20' or deeper. Now that I have spotlock on my trolling motor, I only use my anchors on gusty days. If the wind is pretty consistent, the spot lock does a great job, even though it is first generation.

    If you want a great anchor that you can always get back and believe me some can get hung up and you never see them again, lol! Anyway get a Chene Anchor, it's the best possible IMHO!

    I agree, the Chene is the pinnacle for anchoring. I've never used one myself, but if it does the job as well as a slip ring, fluke anchor (which it basically is), then I have no doubt as to it's superiority.

    I have two of them, they are awesome. I had a fixed anchor like this and the first time I let it out in this lake, it never came back up, lol! That is when I found out about the Chene and have been happy with it since. That been a lot of years now too!
