    That's a pretty good testimonial.

Perotti Built is not as main stream as spider loks but if you get to talking to some of the crappie masters guys they know what they are. Not saying spider loks are not just as good. They both are great holders and I don't think you could go wrong with buying either of them.

as you can see there are many different kinds of rod holders out there and fans of every type. I know I've tried 3 different ones before I settled on Hi-Tek. The others weren't bad, but they each had something I didn't care for and if the Hi-tek didn't meet what I wanted I'd be on my 4th set, but so far I'm happy. It's a shame you can't try several different ones before you buy, it can get expensive.

Shop around and consider the attributes of each.

That looks good, but if they are biting good, too many rods and too much work..

Another thing I like about the Hi-Teks are they have a lower profile with less clutter and your vision is less obstructed when motoring across the lake.Had mine for years and they work flawlessly.

Good point Rdrunner. I don't like anything in my field of view. I always take my front seat down before running from one place to another.

That's why I like the Elites for up front, pull back and they lay right down. Helps for trolling motor use also.
