No kidding...that fish finder image is spot on..... Do you have a high definition transducer or just have the settings dialed in tight?

Thanks for the comments guys. Yes scrat that waypoint is saved....LOL. I have fished the same spot for 12 trips now. It has produced quiet a few crappie but the numbers of KY bass that have come out of that hole are off the charts. I could be wrong but I feel come October it will be stacked with larger crappie in the 13-14 inch range. Dollfly I am still discovering ways to fish the Trout Magnet. The 2# test line is the key.

I have the Helix 10 Mega si. The transducer is the new one they developed for the new Helix units....they do not call it an HD transducer bit it is most assuredly HD. I do check my settings each time on the water to make sure they are optimum for the water conditions.....and I almost always keep sharpness set to low to highlight the fish. A lot of folks object when one calls a sonar unit a fish finder but I use it to find fish....and it does a great job at that. But....using this unit at default settings one would not go wrong. Before this unit I had the HB 899 core unit. The difference is night and day between the two units.
