Thanks for the comments......the image on the left side of the pic is the spill gate supports under water. The portion at the bottom of the screen that looks like gears is because I had made a sharp turn to line up with the gates. The image on the right side has some mirroring going on and someone such as Rickie may have to explain how that happens. The mirroring only comes into play when I am very close to concrete objects. If you look at the image that is at 19.7 feet you will see a little bit of mirroring there also. I looked back at the 4 years of images I had with the HB 899 and it does same. The transducer is mounted correctly and I do have to trim the motor up more than usual as this new transducer is quite a bit larger than my old one. I had the HB 899 mounted on a kayak for 2 years and I would get same when being very close to a dam......and there was nothing to impede the beam of that transducer at all. But I will check it out more in depth the next time I am down close to the dam and trim my motor completely out of the water just to see.
