For my applications here at Ky Lake, I will chart weights of 1oz, 1 1/2 oz and 2 oz. These weights along with the speeds should give me a good lure of chart. Brenda and I went out this morning "carp charting" and tried out some in line weights. I can make some fairly sharp turns without crossing lines up. What a relief.

I will continue charting when the weather cools down.

One thing we observed was ow the weight reacted with and without a crank bait.

    FOR INSTANCE:

We had 10 feet of line out with 1 oz weight only going 1.2 mph. Depth of the weight was 6 feet at 1.2mph.

When we attached the bandit 300 with 3 ft leader, the weight climbed to a 4 foot depth and the Bandit 300 went to 6 foot.

What would you expect to happen if you did this?

This is an interesting project. Wish I were younger.

    The projects actually transpired. ha.

One is now a music major from Memphis State and picks a guitar for a living. The other is in a minister and working on his PHD in Louisville at a preacher school there. Granddaughter owns her own business and is a mountain climber. They all fish!!!!!
