It is about time

We have fished quite a bit in the past four or five months and have not taken the time to post any reports on here. We are catching a lot of throw backs (9 1/2 to 9 3/4 inches). Oh well I guess that says good things about the future crappie populations. Our experience has been to wade thru the
short fish and some keepers will be in the same area with a few big fish mixed in. Some days the fish have seem to be a little more picky and
will only bite a minnow. However most of the time orange and chrtse and white and chrste have been the best colors with the water being stained.
We think fish taste better this time of the year with cooler water temps.
