So, after checking out their website I think I have made my decision. Looks like I'm Gona go with the bnm bucks custom crappie rod 10' paired with the bnm West Point spinning reel for jigging and the bnm Sharp Shooter SIX rod paired with the bnm pro staff spinning reel pro-100 for casting spinners and cranks.

I have a 10' BnM Sam Heaton that would work well for vertical jigging. I currently have a Shimano Aero 1000 reel on it. My other 10' rod is a Huckabee Dipping rod with a Mitchell 308X reel on it. I just don't do that much vertical jigging, so they are both used as jig pushing rods, along with my three 14' rods, when I want a 4 rod spread. But both outfits balance well with the length of the rod & weight of the reel ... and when jigging, balance & overall weight of the outfit are major factors in comfort of use.

You might also want to take a look at the 9' or 10' Tenn Handle Float and Fly rod that BnM has. It has the cork Tenn style handle & retainer rings, which would allow you to put a variety of different size/weight reels on it, and still find a spot on the handle where the reel would balance the rod.

And there's always Southern Crappie Rods ... made with Kevlar ... and a 10' rod runs around half the cost of the BnM equivalents (and ~1/3 the cost of a Huckabee).

OK ... but, if your heart is set on these, you might check with Lou at Grizzly Jig and see if he has them in stock. They're probably gonna be cheaper from Grizzly Jig, than direct from BnM.
