    Biggest I've ever caught was 1lb 14oz. The lake I fish 9-11 inches is very common.

    So what state are you catching them in
    I am from Ohio and not sure what would be considered good sized ones here or does location north south or east or west matter for this kind of Fish

    Man that's some good ones. Got a lot of memories of catching shell crackers as a kid till the crickets ran out!

    Use a lil mister twister spinning rig and catch Bass, BG, Crappie, Wipers and Catfish with it.

    LOVE LOVE LOVE bluegill fishing and one really doesn't have to chose one of the other as same jigs for crappie catch them. have lots of pits up by T hill that are full of both and while floating in my two man catch enough to fill it up. started with BG and will always be my first love but chose? that would be like asking me which of my kids I liked most.
