You want be disappointed with those PST rods, they have backbone. I yank on mine all the time like a neanderthal. I run 6 rods when I have two people in the boat, 4 when just me (legal pole limit). I put two 16 footers out the front rod holders, two 12's in the next holders and run two 8's off the back corners of the boat. What type of rod holders do you have? Mine you can adjust the angle (up down and left to right) to give you more separation and keep tangles to a minimum. I turn in small coves and don't have any tangle troubles so far.
