Another FYI: I broke the tip on an off brand 10ft rod. I discovered the top from my B-M 10 ft fit it perfectly so I got a replacement BM tip for it. Lots of brands are similar in size.
Mark 1:17 ...I will make you fishers of men
Just a quick question. Were these breaks the result of someone stepping on the rod, shutting them in the car door or some other form of user error? Or did they break during usage? If it was the later, I would look into fishing with different rods
I have OCD "Obsessive Crappie Disorder"
In my case it was carelesness on my part in both cases. I had forgotten I left a 10' rod in a verticle holder behind me
when I decided to run thru some trees. The other was that my grandson had applied too much force when opening up
a telescopic 10 footer. We couldn't fold it back up without really leaning on it which broke the rod. Fortunatly both were
in a location which allowed for an easy repair.
One broke on a pinch point in the boat. One lifting to big a fish into the boat. One was hung up and jerked at a bad angle. All user problems.
Grizzly Jig for sure!!!!
