    Well, have finally taken the plunge. Set up my bassboat for spider rigging and trolling Erie for walleye. But have found an alternative form of rod holders that install around your boat cleat. The can't be installed and removed in a matter of seconds. Found at welded crafts website. Special order for your particular cleat size and angle of installation on your boat.
    Really looking forward to adding pushing and pulling, trolling( small outriggers) to my arsenal of presentations to crappies.
