Good post, and may get some of Us off the couches, it reminded me that I never used the fogging oil that I planned on using the last time I had the boat out

"3. Replace the spark plugs is also another good prophylactic thing to do " Had me going for a minute, only heard that used in reference to a condom and i was trying to think how that would work. But I googled it and it basically means a "preventative' to avoid disease or other ills.

Those are all good tips. I just finished replacing and repacking my wheel bearings. I will share that it would have only cost me about $2.00 more to buy a complete hub with bearing installed and pre-greased. I used Trailerparts.com for my supplies, excellent and prompt service. I did go ahead and but 2 spare hubs as back up. I have to pull my boat to South Florida this spring and it is 600 miles of Interstate driving.

I was gonna suggest a spare hub but I don't even have one lol. Glad to give some folks the get up and work on you me rigs before you enter your prime fishing time. Preventative is always better in the long run.

Good idea on the registration especially with them renewing every couple years now. It can be easily forgotten.
