Crankbaits and spider rigging

Mine is simple : main line is run thru a egg sinker, then a bead - then tied to a duo lock snap with a Improved Clinch knot - then the leader has a loop knot on one end & a jig on the other (tied with a Improved Clinch knot) ... and the loop knot is hooked into the duo lock snap, and I'm ready to

A swivel could be substituted for the duo lock snap .... as either will do the job of holding the sinker on the main line & holding the pre-rigged leader.

The Improved Clinch knot is easy to tie : run line thru the hole (jig eye or clip/swivel) and twist it around itself 4-6 times, then run the end through the loop opening next to the "hole" and then back through the loop next to the twists you made around the main line. Wet the line and slowly cinch it closed, and trim off the excess tag line.
