Matt, I've seen it on Overcup twice this year, once as recent as last Saturday just shortly before kickoff.... If I had read this thread sooner I would have taken a pic before I fileted the evidence ! I have seen it several times in the past as well, so I have never thought much about it as being an abnormal feature. Seems in my cases that I've only seen it on smaller (less than 12") fish. I don't recall ever seeing it on any large fish, but I could be mistaken or have forgotten.
