I've fished out of the Tracker super guide 16v with a 40 4s on it several times. Two people can fish it longlining or trolling cranks but it can get a bit crowded, one person would be good, plenty of room to move around as needed. Rod holders were across the transom area and along the back third on the sides, a good layout. The 40 4s makes it a bit underpowered with 2 guys (450#) and gear, gas, etc., go for the 50hp 4s if possible. I ended up with a Alumacraft classic 165 cs with a 60 4s and like it alot. It's a bit larger than the super guide but not much.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

I usually fish off the back when long lining by myself. I use at least 8 rods. 6,10,14,18 on each side of motor. But most times I use 6,8,10,12. 4ft in between the 6 footers and then spread the others out as far as possible. When using the 18's, I can cover over 40ft. Of water. When I'm with someone, I use 12 poles. 6,8,10,12,14,18 on each side. 8 out the back and 4 out the sides
Fishing is like pizza.......Even when it's not that good, it's still pretty good!

I fish out of 16 ft. Tracker 165. Built me a rod rack across the back and troll 10 rods all the time. 6,8,10,12,14 fts. Fishing 2 people out of the back is all I do in it and the wind don't bother me that bad.
