Tried these pliers out this morning. They work great. After I opened the split ring and started the treble hook, I used my 4' needle nose pliers to work the ring and remove/install then hooks. The process is a breeze now.

Glad to help Tom. I never put those pliers down. I use them to open the split ring to put the hook on them use then to put the ring on the bait and turn them around to finish. Same tool for the whole job.

Glad they worked out for you. I know I tried others with less than good results.

I couldn't see good enough. That is why I used the needle nose. I might be doing things backwards though. Wrong kinda wire for me to comprehend.
