My go to lake finally cleared up and the the water level receded to normal.I spent most of the day yesterday searching for crappie ( I forgot the finder battery at the house) so I resorted to searching by sight and casting.I caught several crappie,but only in singles,none were on any nest,all we're suspended around 10'.
This lake is flooded timber,and though I fished many tree stumps and standing dead trees,nearly all were caught hanging beside sunken logs,again all seemed to be singles.
