I'm with saltyDawg, if I'm going to upgrade and you won't be buying until next winter take that time to save for the ulterra. Call me lazy but I ain't getting any younger and a push button deploy with the I-pilot sure will save my back.

I have the terrova 24v 80 lb , on a 175 lowe stinger , moves me and a buddy around all day pulling cranks or spider rigging. Since your are not buying until fall/ winter I'd agree with getting the Ulterra . As far as the motor guide i5 never seen or been around one. The spot lock on the Terrova works fine, better now then when it first came out. I went with the minkota based on past experience with minkota . Also I have been using HumminBirds forever , if your not running a bird then look at other options. Nothing against the other brands just in my opinion you can't beat the versatility you get running a bird a minkota and the link system. Good luck and good fishing

I had a 04 PT175 and put a Terrova 55#/12v on it with a grp 27 TM battery and could long line all day long up to 1.5mph. I also had a HB 788 ci HD on the front with a HDS 8 w/SS at console hooked to cranking battery, never had a starting issue with the Merc 60 2s. You don't need the 24v unless you want to pull CB's. Do you have a below deck storage compartment up front near the seat post, should be room for 2 TM batteries there but probably not in transom area, plus boat will be more "butt" heavy with another battery.

The IP can record up to 6 tracks, so no real need for the Ilink unless you just want it, but all of this will cost more $$, but it is your $$.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.
