Best braid out there in my opinion is BoneHead B-Power......... www.boneheadtackle.com Small diameter....casts good....very strong....does not tangle....near zero stretch.... abrasion resistant

Thanks. I will give it a try. I can get jigs out of brush piles with Power Pro, but Power Pro sticks when wet and wind has more control than I do. I use 15/4 hi-viz yeller on my jigging poles. I don't care if the fish see the line, main thing is I gotta see it. Trial color won't matter though.

    Thanks again.

So where is all the info on the bonehead braid?
Is it an 8 strand weave, are the strands woven, what material, only size I could find was for 12 lb which, but Smackdown is 10 (2 lb mono size) and 15 (4 lb mono), it's easy to find info on other braids. The price is also not comparable to other premium quality braids??
I like to compare before I trial things.
    Thanks

Brent........BoneHead Tackle is a sponsor member here.....you could PM him with your questions or he might chime in here and answer them. Was lots of discussion and reviews on his line on here last couple years....its good stuff. My 12 lb. says its 0.14 dia. if that will help you. I like it because it does not tangle and wrap around my rod tips like a lot of the others do.

I have Bonehead braid on one of my two pole rods and Power Pro Super Slick 8 on the other. The Super Slick 8 is by far smoother than the Bonehead and the color retention is better also.

Thanks, just lnew there was a reason I have stuck to Power Pro and since the Super Slick came out I have been really impressed with it. So much better that other braids I have used over the last 20 years or so. That early stuff was just a mess, but soon got a little better and now it's like night and day better that the start of braid.

I guess I will pick up some of the Power Pro 8 too. The Power Pro I have has lasted for a long time and has been reverse wound and is faded in both directions now. Time to replace. PP is some tough stuff as I have a pit bull jaw opener stick (piece of wood) I use to retrieve the line when It is stuck hard. That is when I can find the stick. My boat consumes stuff.

I ain't that partial to any product. I mainly go by folks inputs here.
