When I used to fly fish I would often just stop n sit n watch rising trout. I live in the heart of pa and it's some of best trout waters in America. And it is just awesome how pretty it is along a trout stream.
The only other place that was as peaceful n tranquil to me is in the fall when you start to get the first snows of the year. Sitting on stand the woods turn dead quiet and and these huge flakes start comming down non stop n lay on everything. At No other time can a man be closer to reality n God. I feel sorry for those who don't experience it.

Rick Clunn use to go and sit at the lakes edge at night and just picture what he was going to do during the tournaments. That was when he was winning a lot of tournaments. EB

Neat Pics. I have a hard time sitting still at any time, but it's impossible when there is a fishing rod nearby and I'm near the water. To do that I have to leave my stuff home. Being a morning person I have had to wait for enough light before I could begin fishing. Hunting season was always a very happy time for me. I get to the deer woods a couple of hours before the sun and watch the woods come to life undisturbed. I've had animals walk so close. Always enjoyed the quiet time. Closer to God a man can't get.
