Well Josh, I got to use your line in better weather conditions on Monday. The line performed flawlessly. It cast very easy and far and I think it's much more sensitive than other braids that I use. It gave me no wind knots or twist problems. I also gave it a try on my jig pole where it again performed great. I love that orange color as it really stands out. The line is so sensitive that I could detect the difference between grass and the fish at first touch. I think I'm sold on it and will be ordering some for my other reels. I see no reason to use anything else. Thanks again for the chance to try it out and report back.

Josh one final note for now. First off many thanks to the goodies you sent to the Toledo Bend gathering. My wife was the lucky winner to have some of your braid in her bag. It was the pinkish strawberry colored one, perfect for a woman.
Here is a picture of the orange braid in action, boy that stuff sure stands out. I gave it a good work out in brush and wood. No problem, didn't lose an inch.
Thanks again for a great product.

I received some Bonehead braid to test a couple weeks ago. I figured to have a fair test, I needed to mate it with some decent gear. I favor BnM rods because they seem to work well for me so the rod I chose was a 14' bgjp. I had a Shimano reel still in the package collecting dust so it was an easy choice for the reel. I was impressed with the smoothness of the braid and how tough it is. Even my old eyes could see to tie the knots in the Hi-vis yellow. One of my goals for this year was to try long lining jigs. I feel the Bonehead colored braid may make learning this much easier. So far I am impressed by the quality, and am eagerly anticipating time on the water to see how it performs next to mono filament line. Thanks Bonehead Braid for letting us test this.

I'm also one of the testers. I took it out a few days ago and caught several crappie, whites, and wipers. This line is very sensitive and I could feel the bites well. It did break pretty easy when I got hung-up in brush. I think it was about 50/50 as far as getting my jigs back. It went on the reel very well and did not twist up like the line that was on there previously. Good stuff!!!
What all pound test is offered in the BoneHead line?
If I dont ask its my fault for not knowing
Thanks for the review Bdunn3. In the Crappie line we offer 12lb. That's what everyone is loving. We also offer 20,30,40,60 and 80 in dark green. We are hoping to have our new 8 and 10lb in the next 90 days. Just got to make sure we have everything right on it first. Thanks Josh
Whats the diameter of the 12lb. or equivelant to mono?
