Me I have over probably 300 jigs in my box. From sizes 1/80-1/64-1/32-1/24-1/16-1/8. All different size hooks and colors. I got probably 250 jigheads painted all different colors, some with eyes some without..

I have to say that my best fake bait for crappie has been a 2inch black/green tube. Salted.

I use Crappie Magnet and Trout Magnet for all of my Crappie fishing. Having said that I have other micro jigs in my bag...some from Lindy and others from places I just picked up along the way. I have every color of Crappie Magnet that is sold but rarely do I use anything but Midnight Blue. It is really a deep purple with metal flake...at least to me it looks deep purple. There have been a couple of times this year the fish have turned off and I started going through my colors and got the bite going again but for me when they are off they are off no matter what I throw. Just recently bought some glow ice jigs to try at dark or dusk. I use a 1/32nd head most of the time and will fish the Trout Magnet....which is 1/64th....under a float when the wind is up, using a black body and get real good results. I think most folks carry way too much in their bag...including me...but we all have confidence in a certain bait and that confidence can mean a whole lot.

    Regards

I have a compartment in my boat that houses everything, and I carry too much, but this is the most of it. Yes, it's a sickness. There's an empty compartment, BPS-here I come.

I have two different hooks. I use a #4 or a #6, either tipped with a minnor or wax worm under a slip bobber.

    That's it.

I do stock up on Mini-Mites. I rarely use them, but I have a couple dozen.
