Lots of lakes, but none of them very close. I can be on the Mississippi in about 10 minutes from my office. I can be on the water at Mark Twain in about 2 hours. I can be at the lake (Lake of the Ozarks to those outside MO.) in about two and a half hours, at Carlyle in an hour, Rend Lake in about two and a half hours, Kinkaid in two hours, and the Missouri River, well lets not worry about it!:D

I’m about a ½ hour from Lake Ozark and 1 hour from Truman. I normally fish Truman, to many big boats and jet skis on Ozark. I know Truman a lot better, but aiming on learning Ozark this winter and early spring, before the big boats start in.

A fishing buddy, has it made he lives about a mile from a boat ramp on Truman.
