    Default I didn’t know……..

I’ve been thinking about getting an inflatable pfd , smaller , more comfortable, etc….
After watching this video, I will be purchasing one soon…….a “regular” vest style pfd will leave you face down if unconscious!

Thanks for sharing. Thats a pretty interesting and eye opening video. I keep 6 Auto inflatables in my bayboat and 6 regular life jackets. I have a 15 yr old son and a 12 yr old son, both of which are bigger than me. (Im 5'9" by the way) I had my oldest wearing an auto inflatable while fishing. We got stopped by a game warden and was threatened with a ticket because my 6'1" 200lbs 15yr old was too young to wear an auto inflatable life jacket.

I think it’s 90lbs on up is safe for an inflatable

That's what I thought too. 90 lb or more rating but he sent me a link to a video on the regulations for auto inflatables. I argued the fact about age vs weight limit and almost got ticketed lol.

I love mine! Don't mind wearing it the entire time I am fishing! Barely know it's there.

Same here. Especially when I'm fishing the Rigolets area. With heavy current. I sometimes forget I even have it on while fishing.
