Well the clear water trip wasn’t very productive, so I figured, try the other extreme!
Went to Bayou Louie this morning. Didn’t get up early, had to feed the animals.
I put in at Bill’s Landing. The water is 4-5 feet high, so it’s not as scary as it is when the water is low. It’s a steep ramp!! Name: IMG_2207.jpg Views: 1353 Size: 89.9 KBThree cars in the parking lot on a weekday. That’s a good sign!! Fished the main lake and caught several small crappie. (Already better than Caney Creek!! Then tried a couple submerged fallen trees. Bingo!! Fished a silver and white 1/16 oz jig with two strands of red/silver flashabou. Ended up catching about two dozen.
I’m starting to like muddy water !!
