Also thought I would mention the Peg-x stoppers. I use them on my line below (or, above and below, my sinker. I usually use the 1/8 oz steel sinkers. They show up on Livescope better than lead. The neat thing about the stoppers is, if you get snagged, you can reel down and carefully push the sinker down to your jig, and with a little bit of wiggling it usually comes loose! All you have to do is raise the sinker and stopper back up. Check that the hook is not bent, add a silver or gold nibble, and get after them! Be careful not to break your rod tip!
