AKA The Atchfalaya spillway.

Feeshed my favorite swamp Saterday. Conditions were perfect. Water was lower than last week and da bottom wuz out then. Little to no wind early picked up around midmorning. Not much water under da lilies. Had to change up da plan. Found some stumps and laydowns in 5 feets of water. Dat were holding some feesh.

All feesh caught tight line with a black n chartreuse tube and a few black n green n chartreuse tube.

Same area as when we met.

J.R. you have brought back memories longer than 50 years ago on that river.. My Daddies kin came from the Little sleepy town of Melville. I took my wife there and stayed in the aAble hotel. All the Rooms were on the second floor. The floors were old Plank wood while put down when green. the timber shrank to have cracks 1/2 inch wide. My wife said you better get your visiting over guick cause we aren't coming back. Whenyou looked down the cracks you could see the Resturants below. Before we left we took the Ferry Boat across the river and back. Our kids were seven and nine years old, something they would remember the rest of their Days
