Well went to a lake north of Lake Charles and south of Toledo. Buddy asked me not to give the name out. Started off great with both of us catching on our first drops. Did well early but slowed down as sun came up more. Fished 10-15' over brush. Ended up going shallower up in a cove and caught a ton of 6-8" fish, all thrown back. Bobby Garland type jogs in bluegrass and shad colors worked the best.
