Had the great pleasure to join Skippa Chippa for a trip to Ha Ha today. Water had a little stain in it but looked pretty good. Lots of gar, jumping carp and some shad on the surface. Trolling crank baits. Skippa has it down to a science. Unfortunately. the fish weren’t hungry. Well, the little gar were. We caught one crappie! Lots of little gar, and hooked one “sea monster “. He broke most of the hooks off of a Bandit. No bear sightings. One big alligator sighting.
