Thread: Good weekend!

Went to south LA this weekend to my uncle's farm with a group, for some of these!


He ran his traps Saturday, and had a pretty good haul.


Since he has a pond, I always bring a pole, and caught this nice kitty...about 6 lbs


But the big surprise was when I pulled in a couple of these, because they were never stocked in his pond. He had just found out when his grandson caught one a while back, and about the same size....it's like they came out of no where fully grown. He hadn't stocked them because he was worried about them overpopulating....I told him, I'd be glad to try to help keep them under control. hahaha.


I always have a great time visiting family, but this is another incentive to make the trip more often.
