    Congrats! I too am a "crappie.com helped me catch crappie" person.

    So what's the scoop on the foamy bubbles on top of the water? I don't know that trick I don't think, unless seeing them means there's an eddy present, which is often the case.

    Most times it means a boat just passed.

    Speaking of batteries, my cranking battery is right at 2 yrs old....thinking about going Lithium....expensive but 10 yr warranty, quarter of weight of lead acid battery.
