Thread: 337 area

Looking to go get on some crappie this weekend. Dont have much experience with many freshwater locations around me. Im from the 337 area and usually bass fish in the Bayou Teche in Patterson. Any idea if crappie are biting there? Or any ideas where i can go that arent too far? Thanks for the help in advance guys!

Well my 337 area is to the west of you and Mrs. Laura has destroyed all my places to crappie fish for awhile! Henderson should be good though.

Henderson's really low right now with the drawdown. In fact, they're closing the public launch Monday. Some folks have been catching around Bayou Benoit, which is closer to you I'm guessing.

Around the Lake Fausse Point area inside the basin levee. I'm not real familiar with the area so can't really tell you much more than that.
