Thread: River Fishing

This is a late post from this past Saturday. I keep telling myself I'm going to do a better job of communicating; I promise to try. Fishing has been good lately. Saturday I fished about 2 hrs and 10 minutes and kept 37 that averaged over a pound but no 2 pounders that day. I've had several 2 pound fish in the last couple of weeks. I was pushing minnows about 3'-5' deep in 8-16 fow. That's not my favorite way to fish but it's what was productive. I prefer two poling jigs. Six years ago I didn't own a minnow bucket; I told people I didn't like them because they made your boat smell like fish . Never to old to learn.
Get out and enjoy this wonderful outdoors God has provided for us.

Some nice fish there Mr. James! Thanks for sharing. I don't like fishing minners either but if that's all they will eat, I have been known to throw some!
