Went to Bayou Louis this morning. Water still 5 feet high and muddy. Tried the usual spots and caught a few mostly small crappie. Spider rigging shiners. Action slowed about 10 am. A couple new boats came out. One had 8 rods in front and 4 or 6 in back. They were catching 3 times as many fish as I was on 3 poles. The crowd thinned after noon. I tried fishing parallel to the drop in 9 feet of water and managed 4 or 5 more. Caught several goo and catfish. Learned a lot this trip. Name: DEF23580-5360-47A8-AA42-CBBB1F407FED.jpeg
