Looking for suggestions on line. What line do you use for trolling. Pros and cons. I Usually have 2-3 jigs on line.

I'm just getting some consistency with double rig longlining here in South La; been at it about 2 years. I get hung up a lot but I use Stren Original monofilament 6 lb. test. It's inexpensive, low memory, excellent casting, has a high-visibility options and pretty sensitive.
I like 12 LB Florocarbon -- the line Diameter is the same as 8 LB ... if I had not been using it I would not have caught the 16 POUND Flathead that slammed my jig

On my jig poles for spider-rigging, I use 10# Big Game hi-vis green. On my crankbait rods, I use Viscous 10# hi-vis yellow with a 3' leader of 20# braid.

I use I use Viscous 10# hi-vis yellow for all methods...and I never use a leader ... all my rigs are made up out of the same line I use on my reels.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.
