Thread: The Tchefuncte River

Feeshed my favorite river today.

Conditions were perfect. Water was down a foot or two and muddy. Bright blue sky. Nice strong wind gusts.

All feesh caught tight line black N green n chartreuse tube. A few went 13"

Tried shallow with out any success. Talked to a fish person at the landing that had 6 big black males caught shallow.

Finally got a Goo for PPG.

Ahh yes......sacalait on a ‘96 Chevy tailgate......as American as baseball and apple pie

Congrats on the catch... I'd have sure thought it was still a bit early for those slip-sliders to be hanging around.

Very nice, wish they were biting like that here in Oklahoma.

Nice catch JR but you can have the snake! Even if it is a harmless water snake! Them HARMLESS water snakes are NOT so dang harmless! They have had me just about kill myself getting away from them, especially when I don't see them until AFTER I am way up in the trees!!!
