Thread: The Tchfuncte River

Finally got yard leave. Ya gotta behave to get it around moma's house.

Made the 4th street launch 0800. Mr. Tom was launching as I pulled up. He doesn't say much but returned a wave. He only fishes a cork above a flashy jig. Works da bank hard.

Conditions? PERFECT. Water was still up a bit with a muddy gray ish look .Tide wuz moving out. Stop around noon. Wind picked up midmorning.

First two spots NADA. NEXT spot I pulled da 3tail out. Fish on. But just dat feesh. Move about for two or three here none there. Lots of throw back feesh.

All but one feesh caught tight line black n green n chartreuse tube. Caught one on Twenty's pank Darbonne special. After some serious scientific research I've determined pank and muddy water don't mix.
