How long did you dry the hair out. I saved a tail off a buck I’m drying it out now.

Thanks guys. I’m gonna continue to practice in hopes of finding one or two patterns that work best.
The tails are fresh, killed about two weeks ago. I’m using one for sample tying and I will let the others continue to dry out. I was told they should be completely dried out in 2-4 weeks. Although we are only using the hair, I would think a bucks tail might take longer to dry out therefore eliminating the smell.
