Gave up some nice fish today. The morning started off slow with a little smoke on the water and didn’t get the first fish till the sun burnt of the fog then it was one here and there. The only pattern I could put together was keep changing colors and that one would get bit. I started pulling at 1.5 mph and as the sun rose so did my speed at 10 30 when Spot got hot we were pulling at 2.2 mph and when you got bit there was no mistaking the hit, the pole would double over.
