Thread: The Tchefuncte river

Early start. Walked out da house 0500. Still dark. Nice n cool. I says dats good. Cranked da old chevy and look at the trailer lights. Nada. Wiggle wires . Blew da fuse. New fuse and wiggle some more. Got lights.

At da winn dixe in Covington at 0600. Milk man came out I went in. Nobody around ? Grab da ice and check out myself.

Short drive to da 4th street launch. Only 4 trucks n trailers. Not a good sign.

Conditions were perfect. Water was still down a bit cleared up nice down river . No movement. Had nice breeze.

First spot threw da 3tail. Nada. Next spot landed big feesh of da day. 15" if ya stretchy em. All Feesh bite hard. Some even thought they were green trout. Trying to throw the jig.

All feesh caught tight line black n green n chartreuse tube tight line.
