Thread: Sunday Funday!

My wife and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary this weekend by taking a short road trip. We returned home about 1pm on Sunday and picked up my 6 year old boy at his grandparents. As soon as we pulled up, he ran over to hug me and the first words out of his mouth were, “I want to go fishing.” I couldn’t turn that down, so we hooked up the boat and took off to Bayou Amy since it was close. We got there and started beating the banks. Since it was just me and him, I decided it was time for him to drop the snoopy pole and get promoted to a 10’BnM. It wasn’t long before he caught his first ever sac a lait on his own without any help from me. Talk about excited! I could barely control myself. We fished for a about 2 hours and managed a small mess. Even though we didn’t wear them out, it was one of my best trips ever! Can’t wait for the next one.
