Default "A Passle of White Perch"

That's what my Dad would have called them. I sure would love to go fishing with him again. He never had an outboard motor or trolling motor but he eventually got an aluminum Jon boat. He never fished with anything but a cane pole and his cork was just that, a bottle cork. He would be amazed at how far fishing has come. Anyway, D'Arbonne has been good to me.....Name: IMG_20190125_182957403_HDR.jpg

Nice mess of "white perch" for sure. It's pretty awesome how a day on the water crappie fishin' brings back the greatest of memories with your dad.
I believe that's exactly how God intended it to be. Congrats on a great day and on rekindling a warm memory of dad. Thanks for sharing.

Nice catch there James! It amazes me sometimes how the ones that came before us caught so much more with so little.

Nice passel for sure James. I had to look it up to see if it was a "real word" as I had never heard it before. Come to find out that spelled "passel" means,
Passel | Definition of Passel by Merriam-Webster

    https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/passel
Definition of passel. : a large number or amount.

So your Dad was right on. It's always good to hear about great old memories.

How in the world do you live in the South and never heard "passel" before? How about smidgen? Without that word I doubt my Mom could have baked all the cakes we ate.
